Local 645 Members
Fight for Contract

NORTH VERSAILLES, PA.

Solidarity in Action

SOLIDARITY IN ACTION: Precise Technology workers rallied outside the plant on June 6th to call on the company to negotiate a fair settlement. Despite their difficulties, the members of Local 645 and supporters raised $226 for the striking members of UE Local 611. Above, Local 611 Pres. Butch Potts receives
the money from Don "Big Foot" Sutor of Local 645.

Precise Technology workers, members of UE Local 645, are continuing to press their employer to negotiate a fair contract. Local 645 members have been working without a contract since February 2nd; the company is seeking a number of givebacks.

At a rally held earlier this summer by Local 645, UE District 6 members and supporters gathered outside the Precise Technology plant to offer their support. Among those shown in the photo collage at left are UE General-Secretary Bob Clark and District 6 President Dan Smith. The company, said Clark, is "Precisely wrong," if it thinks it can trample the rights of these hard-working union members.
