publishing the third edition of Fred Wright’s So Long, Partner, UE has brought
out another classic collection of labor cartoons: Working Class Hero. Created by
UE’s Gary Huck and Mike Konopacki, these cartoons "laugh in the face of power
and greed — and encourage us to do likewise," say UE’s officers in their
introduction to the book. |

collection of cartoons by Huck and Konopacki, is dedicated to the memories of the late,
great Fred Wright and Ollie Harrington. (Wright, for many years UE’s cartoonist, died
14 years ago this December.) Shown below are just a few of
