The UE membership, in local-by-local voting, has adopted the amendments to the UE Constitution endorsed by the 67th UE Convention in Raleigh, N.C. Amendments raise the salaries of UE officers and staff by 2.5 percent (effective Dec.
1). A new article suspends the 2004 convention and extends by one year the term of office of national officers and trustees elected at the
2003 convention.
