UE Wins TDI Election
ONTARIO, Calif.
A majority of warehouse workers employed by Transport Drivers Incorporated (TDI) here voted Sept. 2 to join UE, the National Labor
Relations Board ruled in late December.
The election resulted in a tie vote with seven challenged ballots. The Labor Board decided to count the challenged ballots, with a
final official vote count of 29-23.
The organizing campaign resulted from the work of the District 10 Regional Organizing Council. ROC members joined Field Org. Robin
Ellis and Intl. Rep. Leanna Noble in assisting the warehouse workers.
