In recent years, fewer and fewer
working people have been bothering   

to register to vote. 

Fewer still get out and vote on election day.

This trend is a large part of the reason why
more and more politicians ignore the needs
of working people on critical issues
like the need for real health care reform.


When working people refuse to participate it also gives politicians the green light to promote trade policies that cause our plants to close. It allows them to fire public sector workers with schemes like "privatization". If you don't register, and you don't vote, then don't be surprised when politicians give business what it wants, even if it costs us our jobs!
