UE is mobilizing nationwide to fight for health care and retirement security. One part of this campaign is a drive to collect thousands of signatures on petitions that are being delivered to members of Congress and Congressional Committees throughout 2007. If you're concerned about health care and pensions, add your name here to the signatures we're gathering nationwide.
 

The health care system is completely broken. Our pensions and retirement security are being destroyed by growing corporate attacks.

Therefore, we strongly urge you to:

  1. Pass the Medicare for All Act (H.R. 676) to create a single-payer national health insurance plan providing affordable coverage for everyone.

  2. Expand Social Security to create a true national retirement system that provides 75% of pre-retirement income to all workers.
